Wanda Lanigan APRN, PMHNP-BC
She/Her

Wanda is a highly experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who is passionate about providing integrated, whole-person care. Her journey into psychiatry began while working with patients facing complex physical illnesses, such as those in acute cardiac care and oncology. It was here that she consistently observed the profound and often overlooked connection between physical recovery and emotional and behavioral health.

Wanda realized that true healing is difficult when the mind and spirit are not cared for alongside the body. This core belief—that our body, mind, and spirit are not mutually exclusive—drove her to pursue advanced training in mental health, allowing her to offer the comprehensive care so many individuals need today.

Wanda's extensive nursing background provides a unique and powerful foundation for her psychiatric practice.

Wanda is a 1998 graduate of Rivier College in Nashua, NH. Her clinical experience spans a variety of challenging and crucial healthcare settings, including:

  • Acute Care: Intensive Care (ICU) and Acute Cardiac Care

  • Specialized Fields: Hospice and Oncology

  • Mental Health: Inpatient and Outpatient Psychiatry

For a large portion of her career, Wanda excelled as a Certified Case Manager (CCM) and is also certified in Care Coordination and Transitional Care (CCCTM). Her experience has been devoted to organizing, facilitating, and evaluating care options to best meet an individual’s medical, mental, physical, and emotional health needs in the most complex situations. She is a dedicated advocate for her clients, coordinating benefits and care to ensure the most cost-effective and beneficial services are delivered.

Wanda is committed to developing personalized, evidence-based care plans. Through her collaborative approach, she aims to help clients gain or improve their living skills and coping abilities, manage symptoms, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
