Establishing care starts with a psychiatric evaluation. This foundational step aims to understand your mental health needs and create a tailored care plan. During an engaging 90-minute session, we will explore your personal story, including your history, symptoms, and goals, ensuring you feel valued and supported. This comprehensive evaluation thoroughly examines your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and overall well-being. It helps diagnose mental health conditions, assess symptom severity, and create tailored treatment strategies. Ketamine

Ketamine was first synthesized in the 1960s and introduced into medical practice in the 1970s as an anesthetic agent. Its unique mechanism of action, targeting glutamate receptors in the brain, sets it apart from traditional antidepressants, resulting in

growing interest in using ketamine in psychiatric care.  Since the early 2000s, there has been numerous studies on mental health conditions, particularly treatment-resistant depression, that have demonstrated its potential benefits.  Ketamine is not covered by insurance due tot the "off label" use.

Pharmacogenomic Testing

Pharmacogenetic testing analyzes an individual's DNA to predict their response to medications, identifying genetic variations that influence drug effectiveness and side effects. This allows healthcare providers to select more suitable medications, reducing trial-and-error in treatment. It also helps adjust dosages or choose alternatives to minimize adverse reactions, leading to better health outcomes.  We work with GeneSight and Genomind.
